Hi there…or G’day!
My name is Rachael Green and I am the latest addition to the team at Inner Spark Creative. I am from Melbourne, Australia - a very long 9,595 miles from here.
My partner received a scholarship to study and play football for Auburn University, therefore I decided relocation and international experience would not only be a great professional opportunity, but also a great life experience! Plus I love traveling, so any excuse to see another part of the world. I am certain the team here thought it was a mistake when they received an application from Australia, but I am extremely grateful they gave me a chance to interview for the Account Coordinator role.
I graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with a Masters of Communication. With over five years’ experience working in communications in the lifestyle and automotive space, I have lead successful above the line, digital and PR campaigns. I am fortunate enough to have worked with some great brands from both an agency perspective and client side. With a strong affinity for social media marketing, and having recently lead various marketing campaigns for global automotive brand, BMW, I not only have experience in running successful brand campaigns for established brands, but also in establishing and launching new brands to market.
I’ve answered some questions below so you can get to know me better:
Favorite thing about Inner Spark? It’s fantastic to be working in a full service creative agency. Having the opportunity to produce quality work for, and service a wide variety of clients means no day is ever the same. The team here have a lot of experience in their specialized fields, so it’s great to be able to learn from each of them and add some new skills to my belt. It’s also been great for me to be able to share some of my knowledge with the team given I came from a large (300+) corporate company back home.
Favorite food you’ve had so far in Auburn? Taco Mama is delicious - I am a big Mexican fan.
Best thing you’ve done since moving here? Obviously attend college football games! A home game at Jordan-Hare can't be compared to any sporting event we have at home. It is bigger, louder and more exciting!
Biggest challenge moving here? We flew our dog over with us from Melbourne to LA, so the week long road trip with him in the car, through the desert, in the middle of Summer was an experience to say the least.
