The benefits of being a member of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce

We are very proud to say that Inner Spark Creative is an active member of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce! The chamber proudly supports local economic and business development for the city and has been active for nearly 75 years, hosting events, seminars, and building businesses in the city. Before they were even an official entity, the chamber began leading economic development in the community, dating back to 1910. As a local business, we support their mission to support and better the city of Opelika and Lee County.

Inner Spark welcomes Rachael Green

Hi there…or G’day!

My name is Rachael Green and I am the latest addition to the team at Inner Spark Creative. I am from Melbourne, Australia - a very long 9,595 miles from here.

My partner received a scholarship to study and play football for Auburn University, therefore I decided relocation and international experience would not only be a great professional opportunity, but also a great life experience! Plus I love traveling, so any excuse to see another part of the world. I am certain the team here thought it was a mistake when they received an application from Australia, but I am extremely grateful they gave me a chance to interview for the Account Coordinator role.

I graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with a Masters of Communication. With over five years’ experience working in communications in the lifestyle and automotive space, I have lead successful above the line, digital and PR campaigns. I am fortunate enough to have worked with some great brands from both an agency perspective and client side. With a strong affinity for social media marketing, and having recently lead various marketing campaigns for global automotive brand, BMW, I not only have experience in running successful brand campaigns for established brands, but also in establishing and launching new brands to market.

Local Political Ads

Auburn city council elections are underway. When done correctly, Facebook ads are an effective and economic way to reach voters in specific neighborhoods. With this election coming up, Inner Spark is working on advertising campaigns and marketing plans for these candidates to use. Here at Inner Spark, we understand the process Facebook uses to approve or deny your ads.

Facebook recently announced a series of changes to how political advertisements run on its platform. One of the most recent changes is a screening process implemented to try to filter out any political ads from suspicious sources. Facebook stated that, “Any advertiser running election-related or issue ads who is located in or targeting people in designated countries must complete the authorization process required by Facebook.”

Your Business on Social Media

Social Media has largely impacted the world in the past few years, and it continues to revolutionize the way individuals communicate with one another. Businesses have started taken advantage of websites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to advertise and interact with their customers. These sites give businesses the opportunity to flourish by reaching and engaging with much larger audiences. This allows companies to build brand recognition and customer relationships, which are vital in today’s saturated society. There is no denying how powerful social media is and the impact is has on businesses.

Logo Design

When you think about some of your favorite products and brands, what comes to mind? Most likely you form an image in your head of what the product looks like, including what colors and images are associated with it.

For example, think about La Croix sparkling water. You can probably spot them on the shelves a mile away in the grocery store because you recognize the branding they use: intricate designs mixed with colors that match the flavor, and a font that feels elegant and fancy.

Social Media for your business

Using social media as a marketing tool has become extremely important for businesses. Not only is social media a place for you to share important information, products or promotions, but it’s also a direct way for your company to interact and engage with your customers or potential customers.

As of 2017, 81 percent of the U.S. population is on social media. There’s currently over 1.96 billion social media users, and that number is expected to grow to 2.5 billion by 2018. It’s now more important than ever for your business to utilize social media.
